About Russell Parratt, Owner/Designer at Kubo Kitchens
Whilst I started my career as a Project Engineer, I always had a passion for woodwork and knew from an early age that I wanted to work with my hands, and so at 20 I retrained as a professional carpenter. From here, I fitted kitchens for 10 years, which was a wonderful experience for learning how kitchens fit together, what works- and what doesn’t! It seemed a natural step to move into kitchen design, and today my earlier knowledge and experience as a fitter serves me extremely well as I approach each kitchen project. Different from other kitchen designers, my goal is to take clients on a personal journey, working closely with them to achieve something far better than anything they might have imagined or expected.
